Launch & Connect
Launch Wurm Unlimited from Steam. On the server browser screen:
- Click "Connect" at the bottom
- Enter the server address:

- Create your character and enter the world

When you spawn, you'll arrive at the Starter Town. Here's what to do first:
🌿 Gather
Pick up branches, herbs, and grass. Right-click the ground and nearby objects to see what you can do.
🛠️ Craft
Make a crude knife (stone + stick), then a hatchet. These are your first essential tools.
🏠 Explore
Walk the highways. Find a spot you like. Ask in chat if any villages are recruiting — most are happy to take new players.
💬 Ask
Type in the Global chat tab. The community is friendly and experienced players love helping newcomers.
Find a Home
You have two options:
- Join a village — Safer, faster progression, community. Ask around in Discord or global chat.
- Start your own deed — You start with 5 silver, enough for a small deed. Find unclaimed land at least 50 tiles from existing deeds.
Most new players join an existing village first, then branch out on their own once they understand the game.
