# Draeda Update — 2026-06-08

## 💎 Anniversary Event Fix
- **Gem bins show their proper model during event windows again.** During the seasonal event windows (Anniversary, Christmas, Easter, Halloween) the jewel bin was falling back to a plain pottery-jar look. It now keeps its real model right through the festivities — just in time for the Anniversary week.

## 🐎 Stables & Hitching
- **Unfinished hitching posts look right while you build them.** A hitching post under construction (built up from beams) was showing as a missing-model bag until completion. It now renders as a proper unfinished post the whole way through the build. Finished posts are unaffected.

Draeda Server Update — June 6, 2026

🦄 Fixes

Stuck Rainbow Unicorns — Rainbow Unicorns that spawned onto mountain peaks and cliffs could get permanently stuck in place. They now move at a normal pace and path correctly across terrain like other mounts. (Existing stuck unicorns are freed automatically on this restart.)

WorldForge realms — Protected realm walls, fences, floors, and bridges can no longer be smashed by raiding uniques or destroyed/decayed away. Upper-floor statues now respawn on their correct floor instead of dropping to the ground. Player corpses now return to the realm's safe zone on death. (Applies to every active WorldForge realm/event zone.)

Leather improving — You can once again improve leather items with lower-quality leather. The improvement block that crept in when leather became combinable has been corrected.

📜 Quests (WurmQuest)

The early test quests have been removed while the system is finalized — no quests are active right now. If you picked up a Quest Journal during testing, it's been cleared from your inventory.
A client crash that could occur while examining items during a quest has been fixed. Real quests are coming soon, and you'll receive your Quest Journal when you begin your first one.

Server Update — June 6

🏰 Quests have arrived! A brand-new quest & story system is now live. Look for quests to discover and complete as you explore — more to come.

📋 Community Board — a new in-game board for suggestions, feedback, and polls. Have your say.

🔨 Log doors fixed — player-built log doors now finish properly: you can walk through them, and the "destroy before modifying" error is gone.

💡 Chandeliers on upper floors — chandeliers placed on the 2nd floor and above now hang correctly on that floor, instantly, instead of dropping to the ground floor.

🕯️ Chandelier flame fix — wheel-omen chandeliers now show a proper candle flame instead of an oversized fire plume.

🛋️ 6 décor items are now tradeable — several newer decorations can now be sold and traded.
